Course Description
Outcomes
• Ability to demonstrate the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to perform various human resource functions at foundation level in an organisation, including the human resources function, industrial relations, human relations and training and development
• Ability to demonstrate an understanding of those issues which are essential for SA’s HR practitioners in our new era
• Ability to record income and receipts, make and record payments, prepare ledger balances and initial trial balance, perform VAT calculations and returns, record business transactions
• Ability to communicate and make decisions effectively
• Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of the most widely used application packages – word processing, spreadsheets and presentation graphics
