Course Description
A Diagnostic Radiographer produces radiographic images of parts
of the body to enable injuries or diseases to be diagnosed.
A Radiotherapy Radiographer is part of an oncology team that treats tumours (cancers) in patients.
An Ultrasound Radiographer
produces ultrasound images and measurements of parts of the body for diagnostic purposes.
Finally, a Nuclear Medicine Radiographer is trained in the use of radionuclides and radiopharmaceuticals for the purpose of imaging and laboratory procedures in order to determine the physiological function of organ systems
