Course Description
The qualification provides the industry with graduates with sound basic skills and theory in sport development and management which are national priorities as well as providing each graduate with more specialist skills in either the management of facilities (not just stadia) OR the management of the development process for athletes generally. This is not a qualification for those that will coach or directly train athletes – it seeks to serve the industry around the athlete.

A National Senior Certificate or National Certificate (Vocational) where the minimum requirements for admission to a Diploma have been meet (Code: B or D); OR
Mature Age Exemption – Candidates that are over the age of 23 at registration with three years work experience in the relevant field or that obtained an NSC/NCV with lower ratings or that are 45 years of age before or during the first year of registration can apply for Senate’s Discretionary Conditional Exemption; OR
